How to Have a Connected Holiday Season
What does the ideal Christmas school season look like to you?
Sometimes as the holiday season approaches we are pushing through to meet a certain goal, to finish a certain book, and to finish up before the end of the year. Looking back over the years we can see that this end of the year push, in addition to the holiday hustle and bustle, can lead to crabbiness, burn out, and not enjoying the holiday season.
What if our goal was to have a peaceful holiday season?
Instead, we encourage you to give yourself permission to slow down, pause your everyday school work, and enjoy the holidays with your family. One of the best ways to facilitate this is by making recipes and fun crafts together, reading good holiday focused literature and poems, and looking at art to make savoring Christmas life giving and, at the same time, one that can still be educational, peaceful, and fun. Our Christmas guides are an easy way to facilitate this in your family and it is already planned out for you!
How do you protect the holiday season for your family to make it life giving?
