Organizing Your Homeschool
Sometimes organization can seem like one of the most daunting tasks as a homeschooler. You print out all of your curriculum and gather all of your books and supplies but what do you do with it all?
Some things that I have found to help over the years are...
Plastic Photo Boxes-
Another great way to store cards are clear plastic photo bins. They are easy to see and it is a designated place to keep them all together for easy access.
Rings-
Sometimes hole punching and adding a ring can really be a helpful tool to make cards accessible and easy to flip through.
Baskets-
They can be found at thrift stores or around the house and are great for holding everything.
Morning baskets are especially helpful for keeping all of your morning activities ready to go in the morning or to take with you on the go.
Binding-
Binding isn't just for curriculum and student sheets but you can bind cards, timeliness, flash cards and so much more to keep things together and organized.
Designated Book Shelves- We have a book shelf that houses our books for the school year on one shelf, extended book list options for free reading on another shelf, and book series from previous years on another shelf. This makes books that we need and want easy and accessible for everyone.
File Box- If you are teaching multiple ages or are cycling through The Peaceful Press curriculums I have found that using a filling box has been so helpful to keep all of the curriculums, cards, student sheets, time line cards, and more organized and easily accessible.
